In April of 2025, I introduced the authors of the newly published book, Deyohá:ge: Sharing the River of Life, to the Office of Indigenous Education & Engagement and the Humber Libraries, with the intention of organizing a book launch. The book was authored by members of the Six Nations of the Grand River and allied writers. It did not take much convincing to run this event, and it turned out to be immensely successful, with over 90 attendees. The Libraries were so awesome about purchasing a good number of books and raffling them off to students and colleagues who attended the event. Elijah Williams, Dean of Indigenous Education & Engagement, moderated the panel, which included some of the authors like Daniel Coleman, Ellie Joseph, Jay Bailey, and Rick Hill.
