I do like to volunteer to do presentations and workshops where needed and wanted. I believe that only through sharing and collaboration do we create a harmonious and supportive work environment. Listening to other teachers and mentors share their tips and tricks of the trade has filled me with so much inspiration, and I have been using all of those lessons in my own classrooms. It is only fair that I would do the same for other teachers.
During my time at APEC, we had so called Power Up sessions (or lunch and learns), so I had volunteered to present a few topics that I felt passionate about. I also went on to present those topics in CTL Workshops and at the Part Time Teachers' Mini Conference sponsored through CTL usually at the beginning of May. Furthermore, I used to participate in the International Student Orientation with Dalyce Newbie. And when HRT was amalgamated into the Faculty of Business in 2019, I volunteered to present at our first "ProDev Day" in June (similar to what we used to call Plenary Session).
