Amrinder Singh, one of Satvir's closest friends, took time off work to attend and to cut the ribbon.  Susan Somerville, Dean of the School of HRT, Rudi Fischbacher, Associate Dean HRT, Ahmed Tahir, then-president of Ignite, Kim Smith from the International Centre,  Carol Appleby from the Centre of Teaching and Learning, teachers and support staff, and many others were in attendance. 

And last but most definitely not least, student volunteers from the event management program, who set up and made everything run smoothly!
