The students of the TOUR 3530 Service Quality Management Course in the Bachelor degree program at Lakeshore Campus travelled north during one of their classes for the hands-on component of their Service Observation assignment. The Humber Room is our on-campus student-run restaurant that provides learning in the front-of-house as well as back-of-house, supervised by their professors.
Part of the assignment was to dress and behave professionally, and boy did those students deliver! :) They never cease to amaze me! <3
The students in my course had previously studied the service quality manual from which the Humber Room teaches its students. The assignment asked the students to analyze the actual service delivery compared to the standards set in the manual. The staff on duty was not aware that the students were all one group. The students arrived in smaller parties over the course of a half hour or so.to edit.
Antonio is definitely a clear favourite! He came to guest speak in our classroom a couple of weeks prior to our Humber Room visit, and sure created a number of memorable moments :)
