Besides forms and bursaries, we needed to prepare for the many wine tasting experiences, and who better to consult than our very own most wonderful Ramesh Srinivasan. The hotel students would have had a class on wine tasting before, but neither the event nor the tourism students did. In our Humber Wine Lab, Ramesh taught us the how wine derives its different shades of colour, what's involved in the growing and fermenting process, and the different kinds of wine there are, and how to properly fill in our tasting notes that were a requirement for grades after each tasting session! |
